When I'm not writing I like to:

Snow ski is one of my passions. Places I've skied are Breckenridge, Keystone, and Wolf Creek Colorado. This year Red River New Mexico is on my list. My wife and I was there this summer and loved the town. People we met were warm, helpful, and friendly. Red River has shops and restaurants well worth the time to drive there. Hiking in the area is great with beautiful mountains as your backdrop.
I skied for the first time at age 63. It's never too late to try something new. My first experience was North Star California. I discovered that Colorado is easier for me to travel to and soon became one of my favorite ski destinations. A well-groomed slope first thing in the morning is such a thrill that I would recommend it to anyone. The town of Breckenridge has lots of wonderful shops and restaurants for you to enjoy.

Hiking is another adventure we like in the spring and fall months to avoid the heat of July and August. Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park, Utah were a couple of the places we recently visited. Utah has some amazing scenery. If you get the chance to visit either place you will find the journey is worth the time you invest. There are so many wonderful places in the United States to visit that I could go on for pages writing about the beautiful places there are to see.

Music is my longest running passion. At age 13 I picked up a guitar for the first time and fell in love. My first live performance was at age 14. Several bands and hundreds of songs later, I still love to play. I'm in the process of learning how to mix and master tracks that I've recorded. It's easier to record the music than it is to engineer the tracks. When I master how to engineer music, I will post samples on my website.
